I had my 44 restored at Nostalic Resoration in Ozark Missouri. He does great work and it was cheaper than everyone else that I called nationwide. It will take 6 months. He has a website.

Couple of weeks ago I bought a Vendo 44 coke machine. In pretty nice condition and complete,I'm thinking of having it restored and wondered if anyone has any experience with restoring coke machines.I'll get a picture on here later. Had a local guy take a look at doing the body, we'll see. Larry

Kevin thanks for the information,Do you have a link to their site? I had a local guy who does restoration work take a look and he said $1000 on the body work and paint. Any other work would be above that cost.
He does nice work but I'm kinda wondering if I want to restore it or not. It probably wouldn't really need much more work.
Do you have any idea's on value on restored vs. unrestored machine.
Thanks
If anyone is interested in the Vendo 44 to purchase get in touch as I may be willing to part with it. It is a prime candidate for restoration or it could be just left alone. I can send photo's. Price would be $2750 Thanks Larry
Hey Dan -thanks, I'm of the same thinking myself, the real issue is at the top left side there is a dent. It might could be worked on-not sure.
I'm for leaving them original myself.
Thanks for your thoughts.
