Coming up April 19th 2008 is the Watertown Tn. yard sale. It runs from I-40 in Lebanon thru downtown Watertown which is about 11 miles. Yardsales on both sides of the road and you never know what you'll find. Watertown does a SUPER job hosting this. We take advantage of it being 1/2 mile off the interstate.
Antiques are around...Have fun.
BE CAREFUL if you have to drive on Sparta Pike that day. People think nothing of going from 55 to a complete stop to check out one of the many sales...lol.
You've got that right Mark-be careful on the highway about 25 MPH is safe that day.
I stay at our huge sale and try to peddle my stuff...Its always a long and fun day.I might ride my lil' motorcycle down the road when I can't stand it anymore and have to start looking...
I'll always sell tons of stuff on Friday while I setting up-gonna try to be set up all day Friday.
We'll be set up Friday the 18th so be prepared...its a COMING...
Well we sold some stuff this weekend-I was open Thurs.Fri.and Sat.
Sold: Early boat, Gulf signs,some old jars and bottles, old table.
Had some large old store items that didn't sell, showcases,tables,counter etc. but I'm not surprised.
Friday evening I was wondering what I was doing out here but Sat went great, had fun with all the folks, sold well. Rain slowed things down in the afternoon. I think it went really well-I need to stick with Friday and Sat and leave it at that.
Sign guy from Florida came thru and bumped the sales way up-he came thru last year and bought good... Have fun....
